This is the time that “Fall” really lives up to its name! Leaves have finally come down with a vengeance and DPW’s Bureau of Solid Waste will collect them with your yard waste on your trash collection day.
Please put leaves in clear or labeled bags so our crews can readily identify them. Bagged leaf pick up is limited to 10 per collection day and please don’t put them in the public right-of-way since violators can be cited. The bagged leaves we collect are delivered to the Wheelabrator waste-to-energy facility.
You can always drop off your hefty collection of bagged leaves to the nearest Bureau of Solid Waste drop-off center, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
